School of art STUDENT SHOW
BACKGROUND
Ball State University has a School of Art Annual Student Show. The artworks on display are produced by students during the past year. This event gives students the opportunity to participate in a professional exhibition where a qualified juror selects artwork and artistic awards of distinction.
RESULTS
I lead the teams that developed the identities for the 84th and 85th annual student shows. The concept of this design puts emphasis on the challenges art students face through their career and the many paths that must be taken in order to succeed. The obstacles the art students encounter are similar to that of a maze or stairs. Many paths are takin and a lot of practice is involved. Problem solving is in the nature of an artist. Getting from point A to point B is easily said, but not easily shown.
