pechakucha LOVE

BACKGROUND

PechaKucha is an internationally used presentation format, where a presenter talks about a topic-given 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide. The "Love" themed PechaKucha night at Muncie's DOMA coincided with the exhibition Impressions of Love: J. Ottis and Winifred Brady Adams. J. Ottis and Winifred were known for different styles of painting in the late 19th C. Oftentimes, Winifred's achievements were overshadowed by her husband.

RESULTS

I hand-cut rose petals to look like the profiles of a couple, in honor of J. Ottis and Winifred Brady Adams, and portray the theme of Love. My team and I photographed the petals and designed the poster on a white background, giving a 3-D visual effect.
