TOYS FOREVER IDENTITY
BACKGROUND
Toys Forever Models & Hobbies is a company in Muncie, IN that was founded in 2007. The company specializes in several kinds of interactive toys and model building. The business is currently housed in the historic Goddard building in downtown Muncie. After a fire destroyed much of the building, the owners of TFMH, Brandon and Kyle Mundell, committed themselves to its restoration. Toys Forever Models & Hobbies is proud to have several certifications including model aircraft building. They are heavily involved in the creation and teaching process; this is necessary for the hands on hobby creation essential to their store’s mission.
RESULTS
This identity features the ideas of history, product and certification. These ideas are present with the top of the building, building block monogram, and scout badge shape. A TF monogram is made from simple building blocks that expand to make corresponding icons. The Goddard Building roof acts as the top of the surrounding badge shape. The color scheme reflects newer coding-themed games which are available at Toys Forever. This shows that the business is adaptable, and that hands-on activities are not outdated as some may believe.
